Acquiring services from CBS is risk-free. Payments are done after the service is performed and if our clients are not satisfied they do not have to pay anything. No questions asked! For large tasks, such as large-scale modelling, intermediate tasks will be scheduled in the initial contract between CBS and its client and payments are done after the end of each task.

CBS provides a vast range of services with prices starting at 100 $USD. For joint ventures no charges apply.

After the initial contact from a potential client, several exchanges follow in order to define the service that suits best the needs of our clients. CBS puts a lot of effort in this phase, as it is critical that CBS understands the specific needs of its clients, and that clients understand what CBS can offer and what are the potential limitations of Computational Biology. Despite its vast potential, Computational Biology does have limitations and does not represent (yet!) the theory of everything. When an agreement is reached a simple but specific contract is written including, specific tasks, schedule, outcomes, and the obligations of both parts. The following three types of contract are possible.

CBS services can be acquired as outsourcing, that is, the service needed is purchased from CBS.

A joint venture is set up between CBS and its client, that is, there is an agreement to conduct the research together as a collaboration, sharing the profits. Typically, the outcome is a joint publication. Obviously, in this case the services provided by CBS are free of charge.

CBS is hired as a consultant. This can be done under a contract for a specific problem or on a longer-term contract for ongoing needs related to a specific problem.
